This year's Annual Hacker's Tournament was held here at Stoneridge. It commenced on Wednesday the 10th. Bildo, Dorkter, Llama Guy and Sleve, (those are the tournament nicknames for Bill, Jim, Wayne and Steve), started their 8 round tournament right after the last guy was picked up from the airport.
One round on Wednesday then two rounds each on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The scores from those rounds determined who would be playing for the coveted H.O.T.T. trophy & hat on Sunday. There was one match for 1st and 2nd and another for 3rd and 4th.
Wayne and Steve played for the trophy and Wayne prevailed. He walked with a dozen Pro V1s and the trophy. It will spend the next year at his home in Northern California which is also where the 2009 tournament will be held.
Bill and Jim fought it out for the bottom 2 positions. Jim ended up in the cellar. Bill won the shirt he is proudly showing and Jim won a "potty putter" which will be shipped to him in Reno.We will once again host this event in 2010 and look forward to it.
